EARLY SEASON SPECIAL

Birds are singing, grasses are greening, and Daffodils are everywhere. Spring is slowly crawling its way up to Highlands! April and May in the Mountains allows visitors to once again enjoy vibrant blossoms that are fading in the flat lands; take advantage of early season specials; and visit the village of Highlands without big crowds. Trees are not fully flushed leading way to spectacular views on roads which navigate mountain tops and are perfect for cars and motorcycles. Hiking and biking trails are invitingly fresh with the earthy promise and smell of spring.

On a personal note, Rick did a smashing job in his performance of “How the Other Half Loves” and is now auditioning for a singing role in the delightfully naughty play “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”. The play will show in August, so give him a huge “Go Guy” and he might autograph your play bill.

We painted the kitchen red (after painting it yellow first) and it looks GREAT inspiring renewed creative energy for fun new dishes. New mahogany faux wood blinds add elegance to the inn I could have never imagined. The yard becomes more magnificent every year, and this year I truly believe “the tree” will become a water feature and “the front door” will get fixed (an inside joke for those who have followed our debates over these issues for years). All varieties of birds remain abundant and cheerfully serenade us throughout the house.

Because this letter is so late, we are extending our annual early spring special to May 16th! Stay 2 nights or more on any weekend and receive 10% off. Stay any 3 nights which includes a Tuesday and receive $100.00 off. This special regretfully cannot be used with donated gift certificates.
